செருப்பாகும் சிவ சக்தி

எமைத் தாங்கும் வெளிநின்று வழிகாட்டும்

எமைக் காத்து அழுக்கெல்லாம் தான் உண்ணும்

இரு பொருளும் எண்ணிப் பார்த்தால் ஒன்றேயாம் 

திருக்கடவூர் தாயவளின் முளை மொய்த்த பித்தருக்கே

செருப்பாகும் சிவ சக்தி 

விளக்கம்: 

திருக்கடவூரின் தாயான அபிராமியின் முலையை (வண்டு போல்) மொய்த்துப் பாலுண்ணும் பித்துப் பிடித்தவருக்கு 

செருப்பும் சிவசக்தியும் ஒன்றேயாம்.

இரண்டும் 

எமைத் தாங்கிப் பிடிக்கும்

வெளி நிற்கும் (செருப்பு - வீட்டுக்குள் வராது வெளியே நிற்கும், சிவசக்தி எதிலும் அடங்காது வெளி நிற்கும், மேலும், வெட்ட வெளியில் நிற்கும் எனவும் பொருள் கொள்ளலாம்)

எமைப் (உலகத்து ஆபத்துகளின்று) பாதுகாத்து எமக்குச் சேர வேண்டிய இழிவு அழுக்கெல்லாம் அது உண்ணும் 

வழியைக் காட்டும் 

இரண்டு பொருளாய் இருந்த போதும் எண்ணினால் ஒரு பொருளாகும் (செருப்பு எண்ணிக்கையில் ஒன்று, சிவசக்தி ஆழ்ந்து எண்ணினால் ஒன்று)

ஆங்கிலத்தில் பொருள் (English translation):

For the madmen who suck on the milk from the breasts of the TirukkadavUr mother, 

slippers and Siva Sakthi are one.

How?

Both,

hold us up,

stand outside (slippers stand outside the home, Siva Sakthi stands outside the universe. The world veLi in Tamil also means expanse. So the meaning could also be understood as Siva Sakthi stands in the expanse of the universe),

show the way,

protect us (from all dangers of the world) and eat all the ignominies and dirt that should have come to us

though they appear as two, if meditated (or counted - the word eNNi in Tamil means both to think and to count), are one.
