பறையனான பக்திசாரன் (திருமழிசை ஆழ்வார்) சொல்ல காஞ்சி மாநகரை விட்டு அவன் பின்னே நடந்து சென்றாய்.
அதன் பின் அவன் மீண்டும் படுக்கச் சொல்ல உன் பைந்நாகப் பாய் விரித்துப் படுத்தாய்.
மேலும் புண்டரிகனை நீ காணச் சென்ற போது அவன் தாய் தந்தையின் சேவையில் இருந்ததால் அவன் சொல் கேட்டு அவன் எரிந்த செங்கல் மேல் நின்றாய்.
பாற்கடலுள் ஆதிசேடனைப் படுக்கையாய்க் கொண்ட பெருமாளே,
(இப்படி கீழ்குலத்தோர், மேல்குலத்தோர் என்று பார்க்காமால் எல்லோரும் சொன்ன வண்ணம் எல்லாம் அடியார் போல் செய்த) நீயோ
கடல் சூழ்ந்த இவ்வுலகிற்குத் தலைவன்?
English meaning:
You listened to the words of Bakhtisarar (Thirumazisai Alwar) who was a pariah and walked with him leaving the city of Kanchi.
Then when he ordered you to return, you spread your snake bed and lied down again.
When you went to visit Pundalik and he asked you to stand on a brick as he was busy attending to his parents, you stood patiently.
O Vishnu who has the hooded Adi Seshan as your bed in the ocean of milk,
Are you (who obeyed the orders of lower caste and upper caste people as if you were their servant) worthy to be the head of this world surrounded by the oceans?
