உருண்ட பெரிய விழியால் ஆந்தை எட்டுத்திக்கும் திருதிருவெனப் பார்த்திருக்கும்.

அபிராமியின் பெரிய விழி நோக்கால் உலகெல்லாம் திரு திரு என இருக்கும் (அதாவது) மங்களமாய் இருக்கும்.

ஆந்தை திரு (அதாவது) இலக்குமியுடன் இருக்கும்.

அபிராமி திரு (அதாவது) நன்மையுடன் இருப்பாள்.

ஆந்தைக்கு இருளிலும் விழி தெரியும், எனவே இருளும் ஒளியாகும்.

அபிராமி அமாவாசையைப் பொளர்ணமியாக்கி இருளிலே ஒளி செய்தாள்.

ஆந்தை இருட்டிலே இமை கொட்டாது தம் இரையைத் தேடிப் பார்க்கும்.

அபிராமி கருவறையின் இருட்டிலே இறைவியாய்த் தான் இருப்பாள்.

ஆந்த்தைக்கு அருகில் இருப்பது தெரியாது. தொலைவில் இருப்பது தெரியும்.

அபிராமியை அருகில் நின்று பார்க்க இயலாது, அணைத்தையும் தொலைத்து அகன்று நின்று பார்த்தால் தெரிவாள்.

English meaning

For those brutes who have surrendered to the feet of the moon that never fades, Abhiraami, she herself is an owl.

How?

The owl looks in all directions with its big eyes.

Abhiraami looks at all directions with her big eyes and makes the world auspicious. (The phrase திருதிரு is an onomatopoeic sound for watching unblinkingly and the word திரு means auspicious.)

The owl stays with Lakshmi as her bird.

Abhiraami stays with auspiciousness. (திரு means both Lakshmi and auspiciousness.)

The owl can see light even in the night’s darkness.

Abhiraami made the moonless night into a full moon night, creating light in darkness.

The owl stays in dark places hunting for its prey unblinkingly.

Abhiraami stays in the darkness of her sanctum sanctorum as god herself. (இரை means prey and இறை means god. They are homophones.)

The owl is far-sighted. It can’t see that which is nearby and can only see that which stays far away from it.

Abhiraami cannot be seen by getting close to her, but only by staying away and losing everything. (தொலைவு means both distance and also loss.)
